Wahida Khanam, executive officer (UNO) of Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur, who was injured in the attack, is in critical condition. He is currently being treated at the National Institute of Neuroscience Hospital. State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain and Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister Ahmed Kaikaus went to the hospital to inquire about his treatment.
Seeing her, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said, "I talked to Wahida Khanam at the hospital." Now his condition is much better than before. However, his pressure is going up and down. However, his pressure was between 80/120 in the interview.
Earlier on Thursday (September 3), the state minister for public administration visited the National Institute of Neuroscience Hospital. After meeting and inquiring at the hospital, he came out and told the journalists.

On Wednesday (September 2), at around 2 am, miscreants entered his house and attacked UNO and his father with sharp weapons and hammers. UNO suffered serious head injuries and his father was severely wounded by being stabbed with a sharp weapon. Later on Thursday he was brought to Dhaka.
