Mohammad Ashraful played an innings of 7 off 41 balls after only 28 balls.  It was the country's fastest Test fifty record.

 Mashrafe bin Mortuza scored 60 off 6 balls in the same innings.  However, due to batting failure, Bangladesh lost the match by an innings and 239 runs.
